Rockstar apologises for Grand Theft Auto - The Trilogy: The Definitive Edition technical issues - mateocorbarty
Rockstar Games has apologised for the technical issues surrounding the release of Grand Thieving Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition over the last week.
In a position on their website, the studio apartment gave a statement. "The Grand Larceny Auto series — and the games that represent this iconic trilogy — are as special to us atomic number 3 we know they are to fans just about the world. The updated versions of these classic games did not launch in a put forward that meets our own standards of quality, or the standards our fans have revive anticipate."
The studio says it has "ongoing plans to address the subject area issues and to improve each game sledding forward" to allow the games to "reach into the level of quality that they deserve to be." In the first instance, this will include a title update in the succeeding few years on all formats that will address a number of issues. Rockstar tell they'll detail that update when information technology goes dwell.
In the meantime, Rockstar say they've detected player requests to return the classic PC versions of the three Grand Theft Auto games in the trilogy to online stores. To it end, they say they will return the original versions of K Larceny Motorcar III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Distinguished Thievery Auto: San Andreas to the Rockstar Store in the coming days. These will be free to extant owners and anyone who buys the Definitive Edition on the store before June 30, 2022 for no extra price.
